With over 15 years’ experience in the UK and then here in New Zealand as a registered general nurse, I have gained experience, education and an understanding of how sleep affects the health of our body and mind.
I am lucky to be a mother to four school-aged children (now aged from 7 to 12) so I fully understand how nutrition, your baby’s temperament, sleep deprivation and exhaustion can affect and change our lives, and especially our pattern of sleep.
Having four small children, all with different temperaments, and all having different requirements for sleep and nurturing led me to want to learn more about sleep and to pursue a career in sleep consulting.

HOW WILL I WORK WITH YOU?
My gentle techniques to assist your baby and child on their sleep journey begin by determining your child’s developmental age and pattern of sleep.
I completely understand that each baby and young child is unique!
Every family has had their own personal sleep journey. I will work with you and take the time to follow your baby or child’s sleep habits. There are many factors such as feeding, weaning, temperament, nutrition, routines, developmental milestones, health, siblings and sleep environment to consider and understand.
I will get to know you personally, understand your parenting style and beliefs.
I will use all this information to create a bespoke and flexible sleep plan that you can comfortably use and refer to.
By identifying your baby’s sleep patterns and implementing gentle, consistent techniques, healthy safe sleep can be achieved for you and your baby or young child.
